In those eyes, I see an eternity of time, all caught like some prehistoric being, in the moment when you look at me. Yes, your eyes are dryad eyes, filled with secret knowing, and wild teachings. Heartwood was a heartgift to my ex-husband, Bryan. Heartwood is fundamentally a point of convergence, a moment suspended into time caught in the space of one breath. It is the space that love inhabits, infinity in an instant, as if time stood still and all that was and all that will be is carried within the forest song of the heart.
